APCC Youth Cricket

Coaching Methodology

AP Cricket Club welcomes Colts ages 7 to 15 to learn and enjoy the exciting game of cricket. The Colts, either playing for the first time or at an advanced stage, are divided into the groups either depending upon their capability and age as deemed appropriate for their development.

The Colts get an individual action plan incorporating elements for (i) Technical development and (ii) Physical strengthening. The Coaches offer one-to-one support for bespoke needs of the colts.

Coaches

APCC enjoys wealth of coaching experience. The Colts are coached by Level 2 Coaches and Level 1 Support Coaches. The players from the club’s 1st XI and 2nd XI also offer support and encouragement to the budding players. Below are the APCC Coaches at present:

I've loved getting involved in the coaching and watching my son and his friends learning the game, getting better and better at it, and to see the spirit with which they play. They really are a great group of children and a credit to the game."

Nick Beedham – Level 1 Support Coach
Nick’s son has been with the AP Club since the age of 7 and Nick has seen him grow in leaps and bounds. Nick has undertaken the Level 1 badge to encourage colts to play the game of cricket and develop skills that are useful in sports and otherwise.
